Paintings

I mainly paint portraits and female figures. There is something ever so fascinating about how faces and bodies are structured and how they can be manipulated and altered. I like to put them against dream-like spaces to create a sense of otherworldliness . There is this reoccurring figure in my painting and even though it is not always deliberate  I like to think of my work as a sort of self-portrait. Not in a necessarily physical way, but rather an emotional and psychological.
